Heathrow consultation launched

Heathrow is hoping that a new consultation will enable it to gather information that will help it get permission for a third runway. The consultation runs from Wednesday 17th January 2018 for 10 weeks until 28th March 2018.

Below are two lists of the events that Heathrow will be holding.

Heathrow does not legally have to run the consultation but the National Policy Statement process is designed so that the applicant (Heathrow in this case) has to do a lot of the preparatory work up front. In theory, this should enable the proposals to move swiftly through the later stages of the process. However, it must be hoped that politicians will come to their senses and put a stop to a third runway before these outrageously destructive and expensive proposals get much further.
