Statement
7 September 2017
For immediate use
Responding to the Government’s announcement for a further consultation in the Airports National Policy Statement process, Rob Barnstone, Campaign Coordinator, Stop Heathrow Expansion, said: “Despite assurances to the contrary, this additional element of scrutiny might result in further delay and could be preparation for a Government climb-down, as they recognise the difficulties in getting Heathrow expansion through Parliament.”
